Our Print Process

Every AustralianLight print is produced as a finished artwork, with paper, canvas, ink and mounting choices selected to suit the image, size and presentation style.

Paper Prints

Our standard paper finish is a high gloss metallic stock where the selected size and presentation allow. It gives strong contrast, deep blacks and a subtle metallic sheen that works beautifully under dedicated lighting.

For larger works, specialist finishes, or pieces where another surface is better suited, we use an equivalent professional photographic paper selected for image quality, colour stability and presentation durability.

Archival Production

Our prints are produced with professional pigment inks on archival-rated photographic papers and canvases. We choose materials from established manufacturers and production partners so that each print has excellent colour, detail and long-term stability when displayed with reasonable care.

The lifespan of our paper prints is further supported by our Floating Acrylic mounting process, which helps seal the image away from dust, handling and everyday environmental exposure.

Canvas Protection

Canvas prints are spray-coated with Aquathane laminate for added protection. The coating improves flexibility and scratch resistance, provides an ultra-clear anti-fungal finish, and adds strong ultraviolet light blocking ability.

We believe Floating Acrylic is one of the strongest contemporary presentation options for landscape photography. Traditional paper matte and frame presentations are also available on request. Please contact us for a personalised quotation.
