It's often in hindsight that you realise - damn, I really should've explored this place a bit more! Even with my 3 or so years in Melbourne, I was often lured towards the high country or the picturesque coastlines of the Great Ocean Road - which meant this spectacular part of Victoria dropped well below my radar. It was only in my final weeks as a "Victorian" that I decided to do a cheeky sunset shoot out at Cape Paterson on the Bass Coast. D'oh!

This location is affectionately called "Eagle's Nest" and with a little imagination you can see why. Makes me want to be an eagle - they seem to always get the best spots! Cheers, Bernie
