I've had great luck with shooting at Currumbin beach, and it is a location I'm always happy to shoot sunrises at! Plenty of interesting rock formations to choose from, a big rock to climb and shoot from (Elephant Rock) and generally good in all sorts of conditions!

Sometimes though, you get light even more special than that which you came for, and this was one of those times. Shooting two cameras this particular morning also meant hectic shooting, but double the happiness when I got home and saw the results! - Bernie
