Croajingolong is one of those destinations which if mentioned during conversation, is normally received with odd and curious looks. Nevertheless, the curiously named yet seemingly little-known National Park is slowly becoming recognised for its unspoilt wilderness and amazing coastline - exceptional enough to have been listed by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve in 2008.
Complementing the diverse environment are the huge Thurra Dunes, located adjacent to Point Hicks & the similarly named Thurra River, are one of the main highlights of the National Park.
