The crispness of the morning high country air had been exactly what the doctor ordered; a short stint away from the daily grind and the constant commotion that comes from living right in the heart of a city.

Mother Nature had served up a perfect alpine sunrise this morning, but it lacked the drama and atmosphere required to deliver amazing photography conditions for sunrise itself. Nevertheless, it allowed me to explore the area surrounding Wallace Hut and capture the flawless golden morning light as it fell on this scene - a particularly refreshing morning and a relaxing high country image to show! - Bernie
