Is this the World's most photographed tree? Well I'm not sure, but judging by the 30 other photographers standing beside me on this day, I think it may easily make the Top 10.

It is easy to see why it is so popular though, the tree standing in the calm water of Lake Wanaka while set against a mountain backdrop certainly makes for a beautiful scene.

Bernie and I considered not shooting this location because of the popularity, but our apartment was just 100m from here and we knew we would regret not getting at least one image while we were so close. - Cheers, Russell.
