Burra Homestead

Burra, SA.

I had the opportunity to help a family member do a road trip from Adelaide to Queensland. It wasn't a "photo trip" so there was no time to stop and wait for light or conditions, so I simply managed with whatever presented to me along the way. It was also a great trip to geotag some future locations.... road trips like this can prove invaluable when seeking new landscapes to photograph.

Now I bet many of you are thinking "Hey... I have seen that place before"....that may well be the case, as the Burra Homestead is famously known for being the cover of Midnight Oil's "Diesel and Dust" album, as shot by Ken Duncan. - Russell
