The last quarter of 2010 saw South East Queensland's drought conditions come to an end - regular rain meant the sun rarely had a chance to light up the morning or afternoon skies, and as such it was hardly surprising that on this particular morning I arrived on location and was greeted with heavy, overcast cover - it was getting to the point of frustration.
It hadn't rained, luckily, but the morning showed no promise. This didn't stop me, however, and I proceeded to get my tripod and camera set, locked, and loaded, waiting for a miracle sunrise to happen. Magic didn't happen, and no fiery sunrise eventuated, however the super-long exposure of the film in my panoramic camera certainly rendered an interesting scene which I think has a certain aesthetic soothing look! - Bernie
