While the old Police Hut in the Chinese Settlement of Arrowtown is a must for photographers, it's not always easy to photograph as it sits right on the very edge of the settlement carpark.
I had made several visits to this location and each time cars had obscured the view. So not to be beaten, on this day I arrived hours early, set the camera up and then stood guard while directing cars to park elsewhere..... it was the only way I could be sure of a clear view when the sunlight arrived. :-) Cheers, Russell
