Old remnants of structures past, such as this particularly characteristic jetty, are always a joy to photograph. Not often appreciated by those who pass them they're often sent to their demise and destroyed, whether it be for "safety" reasons or perhaps because someone out there believes they're an eyesore. I'd rather see them left there to bear the brunt of the weather and fade naturally, as well of course to provide us photographers with unique things to shoot! - Bernie
