My commercial shoot in Caloundra finished at midday and my cloud app suggested that the sunset may be worth sticking around for, so I switched into 'Landscape Photographer Mode' (that's a special mode that allows a landscape photographer to turn brain dead for hours on end, in an effort to cope with the boredom of just sitting around waiting for light).
After such a long wait I was disappointed that I didn't get the high-cloud afterglow that I had hoped for, but the pre-sunset direct light on the green rocky shore of the headland made for quite an interesting foreground. - Cheers, Rusty.
