I really didn't expect much this afternoon, as the day had been quite solidly overcast. However upon arriving at the Seaway, I noticed a small gap start to appear on the western horizon. This normally means just one thing to a landscape photographer... "a colourful sunset is about to emerge".
I had gone to this location in the hope of capturing a moody seascape, but I couldn't risk missing what promised to be a spectacular sunset. So I quickly found this west facing composition and as luck would have it, Nature did not disappoint.
Cheers, Russell
