A scorcher of a day in Melbourne saw the mercury bubble perilously close to 40 degrees, leaving most no option but to take refuge in air conditioning or to seek shelter and icy cold drinks to quench thirsts. I'd decided against both. Having already planned to catch up with a few other photographers this afternoon made it a bit easier, and somehow managed to not talk myself out of it, instead hopping in the car and setting course for Portsea on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
The air was relatively calm upon arrival, which coupled with the intense heat from the day and the slight heat haze, made for some dreamy atmospheric conditions and some exciting shooting! As per any other day in Victoria, the conditions started changing quickly taking this stunning hazy glow with them -- leaving just enough time to capture this and a handful of other shots. Hope you enjoy!
