This was one of the most magnificent skies that I have ever seen at sunrise!
Leaving camp in the dark and trying to find a photo location is never easy. While driving around small country roads and peering into the darkness, I spotted this tree and decided to work with it as a silhouette, against what I hoped would be an interesting or colourful sky.... then the sky lit up, OMG!
I couldn't believe my luck with the colour and reflected on how I almost didn't bother getting out of bed.... then the horse walked into frame!
Needless to say that I returned to base as one happy camper. - Russell
